Access for the North Cascades Highway is from I-5 exit 230 in Burlington. It travels over Rainy Pass & Washington Pass and through the middle of the North Cascades National Park, for about 437 miles before joining Hwy 2 just before the Idaho border.

SR 20 IS CLOSED DURING THE WINTER TYPICALLY RE-OPENING IN LATE APRIL.
